To mark and celebrate Armed Forces Day, Gurpri Bains and I were joined in WCR FM’s studios by Veteran and Mental Health & Armed Forces Advocate, Lee Chapman.
We talk about his service and the value of it for him and the need to support veterans back into civilian life.
He has set up an Armed Forces Community Network which meets every Wednesday at the Pelsall Community and Arts centre, and also every first Sunday. This is not just for veterans, but their families and also cadets. Anyone who wants to support the Armed Forces Community is welcome too.
