The event, being organised by Perton Library and Wild About Perton, is packed full of family fun and is part of the celebrations for Green Libraries Month.
Visitors can learn all about climate change and the efforts in Staffordshire to reduce waste and their carbon footprint, with Waste Savvy Staffs and the Climate Change team from South Staffordshire Council. Dr Phil Jemmett and his team of scientists from Warwick University will be demonstrating experiments all day, while Staffordshire Wildlife will be running workshops and leading a guided tour of the Perton Nature Trail.
Following the great success of last year’s event, the library team have worked closely with the community and partners and secured funding from the Friends of Perton Library, Wild About Perton and the County Council Digital Infrastructure Team.
