Two headline bands, one haunted room, and the night before Halloween. Molly Karloff and Circus 66 are joint headliners at The Giffard Arms, Wolverhampton, with Wolverhampton's own Europa Reign opening, and fancy dress is very much encouraged. Dig out the face paint and the fake blood, and get down early.

MOLLY KARLOFF
No strangers to the Giffard, Molly Karloff launched their debut album Breaking Out on this very stage in 2023. Recorded with Grammy-winning producer Mike Exeter, it earned 8/10 from Classic Rock for its "punchy, QOTSA-attuned ear and honed-to-the-bone brutality". The single "She Said" spent three weeks on Planet Rock's playlist, and the video for "Faceless" has passed a million views. Heavy grooves, big choruses, not an ounce of filler.

CIRCUS 66
Fronted by the extraordinary Annabelle Zaychenko, with Matt Pearce on guitar, Luke Ward on bass and Leigh Holley on drums, Circus 66 have spent years on the road refining a raw, razor-sharp hard rock sound: crushing riffs matched with huge, anthemic hooks.

EUROPA REIGN
Opening the night are Wolverhampton's own Europa Reign: thrash-meets-grunge metal, soaring melodies over crushing riffs. Last October they opened the final night of Kira Mac's Defiant tour at KK's Steel Mill, and MetalTalk called them "everything you hope for in a Metal band". Get down early for this one.
