Join award-winning artist and Spider-man enthusiast, Hetain Patel, for a hands-on workshop creating your own miniature personalised Ford Escort car. Starting with a paper template that Hetain has designed, you are invited to create a mini car and decorate it in any way your imagination takes you. Hetain has transformed two full size Ford cars, one into a larger-than-life Transformer, and another, he completely covered in his grandmother’s rug pattern that he hand-tufted. How will you transform your car? 

Get the chance to build your own Cigar Box Guitar and spark a new love for music, with Chickenbone John, the Godfather of the Cigar Box Guitar. Re-creating the music of those Mississippi juke joints, alongside his long-time collaborator Harmonica Dave, he is on a mission to keep those roots of the blues alive. Chickenbone John will also be joining us for an electric performance, in collaboration with Brimingham Jazz and Blues Festival.
